Bring an Endometriosis Specialist & Specialist Centre back to Northern Ireland.

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

Northern Ireland currently does not have a Endometriosis Specialist. Women here have no specialist input or treatment for this debilitating condition!
Women with Endometriosis have the right to medical and surgical treatment of such a debilitating condition: chronic pain, infertility, nausea, endometriomas etc. Endometriosis causes problems throughout the body and our Health Service are letting women with this condition down. 1 in 10 women have Endometriosis.

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

We can only accept petitions about things the Government or Parliament are directly responsible for.

Decisions about healthcare in Northern Ireland are a matter for the Northern Ireland Executive and Northern Ireland Assembly, not the UK Government or Parliament.

If you want to raise this issue you could contact your MLA, or raise it with the Northern Ireland Executive.
