Debate the history of Ukraine-Russian relations to inform UK policy.

What the petition asks
Ukraine-Russian history is complex and should explained and discussed so a balanced policy can be adopted. Current Government policy assumes that Russia must be stopped at all costs. Sending weapons to Ukraine is high risk and has not been democractically agreed. Other views must be considered.
By painting the conflict as black and white without properly considering the historical context the Government is risking the well-being and even lives of UK citizens without adequate consultation. An intelligent, fact-based debate is urgently needed.
