Charge Scotland, Wales, N.Ireland for NHS prescriptions.

What the petition asks

The NHS need funding, so by charging the other 3 country’s in the UK to pay for the prescriptions like England do per item will help the funding.
England are the only country in the UK to pay for medical prescriptions, per item. Scotland, Wales and N.Ireland don’t pay, with them 3 country’s paying for the prescriptions the money should go to the NHS to help fund them

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

Decisions about the delivery of public health services - including prescription charges - in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland are a matter for the Scottish Government, Welsh Government and Northern Ireland Executive, not the UK Government or Parliament.
