End the practice of e consultation

Rejected 9 signatures

What the petition asks

Stop doctors from passing the appointment booking system on to private companies
Having tried to book an appointment I found the process confusing, then having to wait up to 36 hours for a response was frustrating.
No thought has been given to older patients, or those without internet access.
This looks like the start of NHS privatisation

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

We can only accept petitions about things the Government or Parliament are directly responsible for.

Decisions relating to GP appointments, including how to make these available to book, are operational matters for the NHS and individual GPs, not the UK Government or Parliament.
