Look at subsistence cost for Mps.

Rejected 19 signatures

What the petition asks

Lee Anderson has pointed out with proper planning and budgeting people can reduce the cost of meals to 30 pence.

We should examine Mps food expenses to bring it In line with expectation for the rest of the country.
While I appreciate the ad-hoc nature of parliment means that there may be the occasional unexpected event. We should still take into account the cost of living.

A canteen ioffering nutritious meals at the the 30p level should suffice, and with bulk buying we could reduce costs further. Giving both a good example, and reducing costs.

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
