Allow vets to fit and use ‘blue lights’ on their vehicle for emergency calls

What the petition asks
The Government should allow vets to have emergency ‘blue lights’ fitted to their vehicles for use when attending emergency calls.
Animals can be left waiting longer than necessary in severe pain, if the vet is stuck in traffic.
It is no exaggeration that animals can suffer and die while waiting for a vet to arrive. Vets of large animals are often a fair distance from their clients as there are fewer of them.
Blue lights would help to reduce their travel time, and reduce animal suffering.
