Change the way primary school children are tested.

What the petition asks
Find alternative methods to examine how schools are performing, rather than subjecting them to tests. SATs can be changed for lighter less extensive measures.
SATs,tests, exams and other forms of these examinations do not define a child on their intellectual, knowledgable, creative, sporting and many other forms of capabilities but they do cause fear, anxiety and stress. Children as young as seven are subjected to these exams. As parents we are told they are to measure the schools progress but why are the childrens mental health being risked to measure the school as a whole.
