What the petition asks

We the people have been effectively cast aside during the cost of living crisis. The cost of food and bills have skyrocketed none more so than the cost of energy a typical user will see £300 a year in standing charges added to their bills that before the privilege of even using it We are calling on

the government to force ofgem to scrap all standing charges on energy bills while the crisis is ongoing and order a review into the abolition of standing charges, it is an unfair poll tax on the people of this country and we deserve a energy sector that looks out for the consumers and not the directors and their interests.
