Make mental health first aiders a legal requirement in the workplace.

What the petition asks
Create legislation that would make it mandatory for places of work to have a mental health first aider, the same way that physical first aiders are required.
Over the years, the awareness surrounding mental health has increased. Many people, however, are still unsure how to help those in need. Those who are suffering often do not know where to turn.
Many people spend a lot of time in the workplace. This makes it easier to spot and identify those struggling. As a preventative action, this could save many lives as it would provide signposting, support and care for those who slip through the nets while providing emergency help during a crisis.
