Scrap university tuition fees for Student Nurses and re-introduce full bursary.

Closed 110 signatures

What the petition asks

To support the careers of the future Nurses, Midwives and Paramedics. Drop the tuition fees for universities, and to re-introduce the full bursary, which includes living costs. Also to bring more mental health support for these pathways. Also to pay student nurses a wage.
People dream about perusing a career in Nursing but with the current climate of the economy, it has been made near enough impossible for these dreams to become a reality. Working endlessly, putting in everything to get this degree, all whilst living in what can be described as poverty, no money to even survive. This work is all for free. The amount of lives that have been taken due to student nurses suicides increasing is disgusting, but this has been passed off like it is nothing.
