Introduce a centralised map for Petrol Fuel Stations to report their fuel prices
Rejected
10 signatures
What the petition asks
Introduce legislation to force UK Petrol Fuel stations to report their up to date fuel prices onto a government-run, centralised map.
With the cost of living constantly increasing, people deserve to know where they can get their fuel the cheapest. People don’t have the time or money to drive between several fuel sites, seeking the lowest price. Allow them to find the cheapest prices online, and cut out unnecessary journeys
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
The decision to advertise petrol prices would be for individual petrol stations, not the UK Government or Parliament.
There are already some petrol price maps online created by different people and organisations which you may wish to look at.
