What the petition asks
We want the Government to schedule a referendum to ask Londoners whether they want to abolish, or retain, the post of Mayor of London.
We believe having a London Mayor has been disastrous for London, and has been a waste of money. We want London to be run by elected councillors and members of the London Assembly, not a Mayor.
