Apply to join the European Union Single Market
Rejected
21 signatures
What the petition asks
Rejoin the EU single market. This would fulfil the promise of being outside the European Union while promoting trade and cooperation across nations.
While there was a referendum on the question of EU trade block membership in 2016, many things have changed since then. Critically, recent figures show that many voters have changed their minds https://www.statista.com/statistics/987347/brexit-opinion-poll/. Re-joining the single market would ultimately allow the UK to mitigate the cost of living crisis and foster future cooperation.
