Make it illegal for railway workers to go on strike

What the petition asks
Ban railway workers from going on strike, this should include all mainline train operating companies (TOC) workers and their subcontractors and light rail such as the London Underground and smaller light rail networks.
Strikes by rail workers on mainline and underground networks have been causing a blight to many everyday working people for many years. They are surely damaging the economy because people and goods are disrupted and causing a huge inconvenience to the travelling public, many of whom pay a small fortune for their tickets. The average wage for a driver in London is 58k and guards at around 30k, so they are not underpaid for their standard working week of 35-40 hours. These strikes need to be banned by law.
