Cut VAT on all vehicle fuel

Rejected 14 signatures

What the petition asks

Cut the 20% VAT charge on petrol and diesel immediatley which would result in an immediate price cut of 39p per litre at the pump.
We are all struggling with incresing costs and on an average litre of fuel costing £2 and set to rise the government currently earn 87p per litre. This would help transport firms who deliver our goods to stores (lower fuel costs to them means lower costs to stores) Also helps struggling people who pay enough tax as it is survive as they would be able to afford to goto work to help support the economy in that way.
