Inquiry into Debendox and birth defects, and fund compensation

Closed 66 signatures

What the petition asks

Parliament debated this drug in 1984 as it was thought to have caused birth defects.
The Government should hold an inquiry into the morning sickness drug Debendox to determine whether many people who are living with lifelong disabilities are as a result of in-utero exposure to this drug.

If this inquiry finds that Debendox was a defective product, compensation should be paid to those who have been effected by this drug.
