Ban advertising and sale of domestic pets online

What the petition asks
The sale and advertising of domestic pets to be banned on internet sites
Too many people advertise and sell domestic pets, some of which are unhealthy or even stolen, online.
We believe it is time this avenue was blocked off
Dogs, puppies, cats and kittens are advertised and sold on many websites, with little regulation.
Some pets that are sold on these internet sites are either stolen, have already changed hands many times, or come from abroad.
The Government needs to shut down all avenues to unscrupulous, breeder/dealers.
The ban on third-party sales of dogs and cats under six months has not stopped people advertising and selling pets online. More needs to be done.
