Immediately cease the trialling of electronic tagging of migrants to the UK.

Rejected 11 signatures

What the petition asks

This scheme is barbaric because the migrants in question have committed no crime. In many cases they are fleeing famine, persecution and death. Please don't tag people, instead, help them with the grace and compassion they deserve.
I would not want to be tagged on arrival after an arduous perilous journey made in the hope of a better life. As a citizen of the United Kingdom I could not look a tagged migrant in the eye and welcome them to my country. This is not compassion, this is dehumanisation. We are better than this.
