What the petition asks

The need for petrol and diesel needs to come down. The chancellor is now making more than ever off fuel the taxes need to be reduced.

The chancellor need to reduce the taxes on petrol and diesel, he could reduce by approximately 40p and still be making the same as 6 months ago. This would also help in the overall cost of living crisis we face as haulage firms can keep prices lower and thus everything stays down more. Also I believe that leisure and tourism will be hit as people won’t be willing to travel due to the costs involved so it will only get worse.

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
