What the petition asks
Carers are struggling to make ends meet due to the rising cost of living. Having to pay for fuel out of their own pockets is costly and unsustainable. In order to ease the burden the government should help towards fuel costs.
Carers work extremely hard and without them many families would struggle including my own. Having to pay for fuel costs out of their own pockets means that many carers are struggling financially. If this continues it will not be feasible to keep working as a carer and we will lose valuable staff from the profession.
Why it was rejected

We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do, such as increasing carers allowance to cover fuel costs, or to allow carers to claim tax relief on fuel payments.
