Do not allow the use of agency workers to replace staff on strike

What the petition asks
The Government wants to change the law to make it easier for businesses to use temporary staff to plug gaps caused by strike action.
We believe this will prevent workers from being able to ask for better pay, conditions and job security.
This is an attack on worker's rights.
We believe that changing the law during a period of industrial action, rather than focusing on the issue at hand, shows that the Government are more willing to ‘stick a band-aid’ on the problem rather fixing it at its route causes.
The working people in this country deserve better. MPs have had substantial pay rises over the last ten years, whilst many public sectors have not.
The Government must abandon these plans immediately.
