Pay increase and help with mileage costs for community carers.

Rejected 10 signatures

What the petition asks

To give carers a higher rate of pay and increase the mileage allowance.
I would like the government to help the carers in social care receive a decent wage and help with mileage as the cost of petrol and cost of living increases as there is a shortage of carers and there is difficulty in recruiting new staff due to the low pay and the high cost of petrol.

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

The pay and conditions of private carers is a matter for their employers, not the UK Government or House of Commons.
