Change Homes for Ukraine scheme in England to a Supersponsor program

Rejected 11 signatures

What the petition asks

Currently there are not enough sponsors in the UK, and there are many Ukrainian families contacting us, whom charities across are unable to help find them a sponsor.
Many UK residents have opened the doors to Ukrainian refugees, as great a act of generosity, but it is not enough. Our collective of organisations across the UK, which are helping Ukrainian families settle in our country, needs the required resources to adequately assist Ukrainian families fleeing the war. We require proper refugee centres in the UK to assist the most vulnerable and prevent them from more suffering. Please change the Sponsor program to Supersponsor in England and provide safety

Why it was rejected

It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

We understand that you want to see changes to the Homes for Ukraine scheme, but it's not clear what changes you want the Government to make to how this scheme works.

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
