What the petition asks
To stop the sale of household flea spray, and make it only available from veterinary practices and pet stores where it can be explained to owners on how to use this product and make owners aware it can not be used on or around animals.
After we had a little 12 week old kitten surrendered to us and she became severely unwell and had to be rushed to our out of hours vets we were made aware she was sprayed with household flea spray to kill her fleas which caused brain damage and seizures and she lost her life 4 days later.
Household flea spray like Indorex, Johnsons, Bob Martin etc all need to only be available from veterinary practices for pets stores who can explain how to use the product before selling it.
