Decriminalise Abortion & remove it from the Offences against the Person Act 1861
Rejected
14 signatures
What the petition asks
The 1967 Abortion Act does not change the fact that Abortion is still a criminal Act in the U.K. to this day, excepting Northern Ireland. This must be remedied immediately by removing the process of abortion as a crime in the original Offences against the Person 1861 Act.
Women have a right to determine the destiny of their own body.
