Require all EV chargers accept contactless payments by April 2023

What the petition asks
We would like the Government to introduce legislation that requires all new and existing EV chargers accept contactless payments, by April 2023. We believe that chargers that require the download of apps and/or RFID cards are unnecessary and less accessible than contactless payment.
The Government is taking action require certain new charging points have a 'minimum payment method', but these will not apply to existing charging points, and do not cover all charging points. We want the Government to require all new and existing EV chargers accept contactless payments, by April 2023.
Apps can be useful for checking the charge status but you should be able to park and charge with a credit/debit card without worrying about an app or RFID card.
