Petition · past parliament

Stop the forced resignation of the UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson.

Rejected 11 signatures

What the petition asks

To allow the Prime Minister elected by the British people to complete his term in office without incumbrance.
Our Prime Minister Boris Johnson was democratically voted into power by the British electorate.

We demand that Boris Johnson is allowed to continue implementing the manifesto that he was voted into power on without encumbrance, or the threat of removal by any Conservative Party politicians including the 1922 Committee, that are in fact in totality servants of the people of the United Kingdom. All elected representatives are bound by law to enact the will of the British people without question.

Why it was rejected

It was about honours or appointments, which petitions cannot cover.

We can't accept petitions about appointments. This includes calling for a specific Minister to be given a, or removed from their, job.

You could have a petition calling for a Prime Minister only to be removed from office subject to a public vote, if that is something you'd like to see happen.
