Remove parking charges in Epping Forest
Rejected

What the petition asks
We would like to regain free, unhindered access to Epping Forest all over Essex and Greater London. We ask for removal of parking fees, red lines, barriers. Thank you, Waltham Forest Community
We feel that our freedoms are being slowly taken away since parking restrictions have been introduced. These changes restrict forest access for people on low income, create crowding and limits exploring opportunities for our children. We believe we should have a right in the decision process. Moreover, our community should benefit from a substantial amount of the income generated by these restrictions and changes introduced over the last two years.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
Parking charges in and around Epping Forest are a matter for the relevant local authorities and private parking providers, not the UK Government or House of Commons.
