Ban gender-based dress codes in schools and workplaces

What the petition asks
Gender-based dress codes do not represent the modern society that we currently live within. Men can be required to wear suits with a tie even on hot days, even when no such requirements apply to women. Similarly, some work places insist on heels and skirts for women but not for men.
In our modern society employers should not be able to impose dress codes based on traditional gender roles. These codes are particularly inappropriate for people who are gender fluid or non-binary.
One way to start to tackle these kinds of issues is to stop enforcing gender-specific stereotypes, and banning gender specific dress-codes in schools and workplaces seems like a good place to start.
