Add more bike lanes around London.
Rejected
12 signatures
What the petition asks
Use more money on bike lanes rather then moterway to reduce congestion, help stop global warming, boost the economy and reduce death on the road.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
We can only accept petitions about things the Government or Parliament are directly responsible for.
Decisions about local road improvements in London are a matter for Transport for London, the Mayor of London and the London Assembly, not the UK Government or Parliament.
The London Assembly has its own petitions process. You can find out more about how to petition the London Assembly here: https://www.london.gov.uk/about-us/london-assembly/petitions
