What the petition asks

Refuse Three network the planning permission they need to install 18 meter 5G mast next to our homes.

We as a community are extremely concerned about this proposal and we absolutely stand together in opposing potential plans to install an 18 meter 5G mast in front of our homes on Hallowes Drive.

Here are some of our main concerns:

Health hazards to community including small children

Protected green space

Visual impact of mast and equipment in keeping with the area

Devaluing of properties

Intrusive, grotesque and absolutely not appropriate close to so many homes

No consultation

Mental health and well-being concerns

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

We can only accept petitions about things the Government or Parliament are directly responsible for.

Decisions about about planning permission for local telecommunications infrastructure are a matter for the relevant local authority, not the UK Government or Parliament.
