Fund replanting of trees lost to forest fires to help combat climate change

Closed 59 signatures

What the petition asks

The Government should ensure there is sufficient funding and support to areas affected by the recent wildfires to allow sufficient trees to be replanted.
It is important these areas are replenished to support local wildlife who may have been displaced or injured due to the ongoing wildfires. It is also important to offset global emissions produced by the United Kingdom and replanting forests can be a big part of a viable solution.
