What the petition asks
With World Mental Health Day awareness growing by day, and many employers recognising this at place off work, its time UK formally celebrates this with a national bank holiday.
To reflect on mental health issues that take a huge toll on people and every day life, it's time the United Kingdom leads on this and makes it a national bank holiday. This will not only be a day for reflection, but of celebration, to help lift the morale of people. We hope this will have a positive impact on society as a whole.
