What the petition asks
Change expenses rules so that MP's can no longer claim their energy bills; electricity, gas and heating oil, on their expenses.
To let MP's experience the struggle ordinary people are in paying their bills.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
