Reverse implementation of Freeports unless approved by a public vote

What the petition asks
Stop developing areas of the country into Freeports, and reverse implementation of existing freeports, until the public is given a democratic opportunity to approve or reject them, having been fully informed about how they will impact the nation.
There are many areas of concern: workers' rights therein, NI provision, the possibility of fracking in National Park areas, the running of them by private entities, involvement of local populations in decision-making. The public should be given the opportunity to decide if they want this policy to go ahead, following wider public debate on this policy.
