Remove requirements for certified installation to access Smart Export Guarantee

What the petition asks
To access the SEG generators have to demonstrate that the installation and installer are suitably certified, normally with an MCS (Microgeneration Certification Scheme) from the installer. This creates barriers to people who have self-installed renewable generation from accessing the SEG.
We want the Government to remove the requirement to demonstrate that the installation and installer are suitably certified, so that people who have self-installed renewable generation, such as solar panels, can access the SEG. These generators would still need to be approved by the DNO (District Network Operator) to be connected to the grid. This could help incentivise people to install new renewable capacity.
