Parent and Child parking space proof
Rejected
21 signatures
What the petition asks
Provide people with badges to prove that they can park in parent and child spaces, the same as disability spaces.
I am so annoyed at trying to find a space big enough to get my baby in and out of the car because people park there just so they don't get their cars scratched.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
We can't accept your petition because the UK Government and Parliament aren't responsible for the issue you raise. This would be a decision for the providers of parking spaces.
We could accept a petition calling for a scheme similar to the Blue Badge scheme for new parents, but you might want to be aware that acceptance of these badges are still a matter for individual parking providers. You can find out more here
