Fair prices for domestic export energy (such as solar and wind turbines)
Rejected

What the petition asks
Currently OFGEM only require energy providers to pay above 0p for energy produced by private households for feeding/exporting un-used energy back to the grid. In these unprecedented times of high energy prices, the government should introduce a fairer way for household to sell/use their own energy
Battery storage is expensive and not environmentally friendly. The grid should act as a “like cloud storage” for energy were households allow use of their un-used energy at the time of production on the basis they can buy it back at the same rate if required and/or introduce a direct offset against energy bills import minus export meter readings.
