What the petition asks
Reintroduce Feed-in Tariffs for domestic solar panels with the price paid per kWh linked to the OFGEM price cap.
This would encourage installation of micro generation (solar / wind / water) and thereby reduce UK dependence on gas to generate electricity. A fair price might be 50% of the cap.

There is a huge opportunity to move the country away from reliance on gas generated electricity by increasing domestic generation but at present a household can only earn around 6 pence per kWh for the same product the generators sell for over 30 pence per kWh.
By linking the price paid to the OFGEM price cap as prices adjust the amount paid would be adjusted to be consistent.
