Stop the CAZ charge in Bradford the clean air zone is an entrapment zone

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

Stop the charge to enter clean air zone, there isn't any alternative routes to avoid the entrapment charge poor signage prior to entering the areas, poor road infrastructure forcing vehicles into the entrapment zone
In this era of high energy prices & inflation the number of chargeable vehicles entering bradford will only add to causing higher prices in an already run down city
We urge the government to insist that Bradford Council reassess this unreasonable charge as other cities in the North of England have already done, for example Leeds & Manchester.
Charging to enter a clean air zone does not clean the air, but allowing free movement of traffic does

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

We can only accept petitions about things the Government or Parliament are directly responsible for.

Decisions about local clean air zones are a matter for the relevant local authority, not the UK Government or Parliament.
