National Insurance Fund available to employees when employer fails the rules.

Rejected 13 signatures

What the petition asks

Arrangements to be put in place for companies being struck off the Companies Register for employees. Employees to be able to to be reimbursed from the National Insurance Fund if their employer fails to treat their employees according to the rules.
Directors are able to strike off thier companies without any just punishment when not closing the company by the rules.

Employees has no access to funds if the directors strike off the company and not making it insolvent.

Companies are refusing to pay employees wages and monies owed.

The government needs to allow employees to have access to the national insurance fund if companies are not abiding to the rules.

Why it was rejected

It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. We understand you'd like the Government to step in for cases where a business becomes insolvent, but we're not sure what you'd like to be reimbursed

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do, such as paying any outstanding wages and redundancy payments.
