What the petition asks
We, the undersigned call on the Government to extend legislation to allow same sex couples to marry in all religious institutions, irrespective of whether said institutions have opted in, under the provision of the Marriage (Same Sex Couples) Act 2013.
We believe that the public consensus is to welcome gay couples to marry in religious institutions.
The Government should extend legislation so that we have this parity in Great Britain.
