Make it legal for cyclists to wear helmets on the roads.

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

I would like the Government to make it legal for cyclists on the road or pavement to wear a crash helmet.
Last November, my Dad who is an experienced cyclist of 30+ years was hit by a car and airlifted to Kings Hospital. Luckily, he was wearing a helmet and bright clothing. 10 months off he is still suffering with a brain injury and a numb leg. We are so grateful he survived, as his helmet took the impact. Others may not be so lucky if they don’t wear one.
