What the petition asks
The people of the UK shouldn’t have to pay for freezing energy bills this winter, by borrowing and adding to the national debt, when the energy companies are making £170bn+ in profits.
That’s why we ask that at least 50% of the Cost of Living Plan be paid for by Windfall Tax, and only then, cover the rest through borrowing
