What the petition asks
A statue of Her Majesty should be commissioned and raised in this prominent place, if necessary by public subscription, as a permanent memorial to Her Majesty.
Her Majesty is the longest-reigning monarch in British history and is held in the highest esteem by the people of this country. A statue in Trafalgar square would be a fitting memorial to Her Majesty, available for all to see in a prominent position in the capital.
