Do not use public money to subside power companies bringing energy bills down.

What the petition asks

The taxpayers money should not be used to subsidise the power companies in the form of loans, that the UK taxpayer will have to repay plus interest, to bring down energy bills.


Instead a much fairer windfall tax should be imposed on energy companies excess profits.
Impose a windfall tax on the power companies.

Do not use public money to subsidise them.
