What the petition asks

Lizz Truss isn’t fit for office. Having been in power for less than a month, she has already managed to sink the economy. There should be a vote of no confidence followed by a general election.

Because the policy of introducing tax cuts for those who don’t need it has had a serious impact on those who are already suffering financially. Beyond being massively unfair, these policies run the risk of causing another financial crisis. It cannot be allowed to happen and Liz Truss cannot be trusted to run our country
