Remove the 15-year rule for UK citizens living abroad voting in UK elections

What the petition asks
The current Government has repeatedly promised to give British citizens living abroad the right to vote in UK general elections, no matter how long they have lived abroad, but this still has not been implemented. I want the Government to end the 15-year rule now.
I was denied a vote in the referendum on the UK's membership of the EU under the 15-year rule, and the UK's departure from the EU has meant I have lost my right to vote in European elections.
I am disenfranchised on matters that are important to me. I demand my vote back in the UK.
