Terminate the contract of First Trenitalia Ltd

First Trenitalia Ltd currently hold the contract for the West Coast Mainline but they have been performing at consistently poor levels for a prolonged period of time. Their inadequate service has reached worse levels than LNER, Northern and Southern rail had prior to termination of their respective contracts.

We believe it is time First Trenitalia’s contract to be terminated and for the franchise to be absorbed by the operator of last resort.
