What the petition asks
UK investors and companies on the LSE are being hammered and manipulated by using grey areas in the system. The current market is infected with toxic shorting, exploiting investors using social media platforms and spreading misinformation about companies to drag stocks down.
We need to protect our institution, our investors and the companies trying to grow, There is NO protection on public forums and toxic organised attempts to short stocks are rife and not investigated by the FCA. It must end.
